The main business locations are:


A major business area located in the north east of Harlow. This part of the town offers a mix of industrial and commercial units centred on and around Edinburgh Way. Edinburgh Way is a major employment cluster and is vital to the future of Harlow's economic growth.

There are several development opportunities here, with a range of former industrial sites in prominent locations ideal for redevelopment.

Templefields which incorporates a mix of distribution, warehousing and light industrial premises extends north of the railway line and includes one of two sites designated as an Enterprise Zone site.

Improvements to the road infrastructure are planned, connecting River Way to Cambridge Road improving access to the A414 and M11.

Harlow Enterprise Hub located on Edinburgh Way offers 2,230 sq m of accommodation through 52 units configured in a range of sizes offered on easy in/easy out terms.

Burnt Mill Industrial Estate / Harlow Town Railway Station

In the north of Harlow, this area comprises light industrial at the Burnt Mill Industrial Estate adjacent to Elizabeth Way and mixed-use at Harlow Town Railway Station, including office, retail, leisure and hotel accommodation.   

The Pinnacles Industral Estate

The Pinnacles Industrial Estate to the west of Harlow is the second major business location and contains a mix of industrial, R&D laboratories, warehouse and distribution and office headquarters.

The Pinnacles is also home to Harlow Business Park which includes Greenway Business Centre comprising 60 offices, studios and workshops with a resident management team offering business support services and meeting rooms.

The other business centre in the Pinnacles area is Harlow Business Centre offering 55 managed offices, commercial workshops, warehouses, light industrial space and storage units. Open workspace is available, enabling the unit to be adapted to high spec multiple offices, manufacturing or storage areas. There is a full secretarial service including the use of fax, photocopying facilities and a meeting room.

The Pinnacles Industrial area is home to GlaxoSmithKline, Raytheon, Argenta, Truck-Lite and Smith's (Harlow) Aerospace Ltd.

London Road

Located in the east on the A414 with easy access to the M11, the area within London Road forms part of Harlow's government designated Enterprise Zone. Incorporating an existing employment area and brownfield site, the area provides an opportunity for major redevelopment.

Harlow Town Centre

The town centre is a strategic employment location and has excellent access to a variety services and amenities and offers a range of retail, leisure and office opportunities.

As well the a sub-regional shopping centre Harlow Town Centre also includes a variety of office accomodation opportunities.
